I’m a professional photographer and author who writes books about photography with certain mid-to-high-end cameras and lenses. I’m best known in the Nikonians world as Digital Darrell, with over two dozen photography books on the market. You may have one or two of them in your own library.
After trying for over ten years to buy my own name, Darrell Young, as a domain name to create a website for communicating with my book readers, I was finally able to get my name at auction. I am happy to report that I have created a new SquareSpace site called Darrell Young Photography at darrellyoung.com, and it’s marginally ready for you to visit, if you’d like.
I have a lot of work ahead of me on my new site and I would truly appreciate your input into how it’s structured and what you think of the simple layout. It’s not quite ready for prime time, but it is beginning to come together. I need your opinion of the site!
I am going to be blogging much more regularly on my new site, as I write my photography books, offering you instructional and fun articles on darrellyoung.com that will enhance your use of your Nikon (primarily), Sony (coming soon), and Olympus digital cameras. I hope you will stop by and even subscribe to my blog at the bottom of the blog page so that I can send you a notification when a new blog has been posted. I’d love to be able to communicate more regularly with you and will make this new site a meeting place for us to discuss cameras, lenses, photography, and video capture.
May I please request your help in figuring out how to create my new site most effectively. Use the Contact page to drop me a note. Thank you!
Keep on capturing time…
Darrell Young

I have enjoyed your books on Mastering Olympus Cameras and wonder if there are any plans to write a book on Mastering the OM-1. I really hope so. Thanks Joe
